This year Eltrino supported MageConf’18 as a silver sponsor. Annually Magento team gathers the brightest Magento architects and developers together to discover and discuss the latest Magento news, to dive deeper into Magento opportunities and find out the most significant trends in eCommerce. This time there were 4 parallel streams, with 32 presentations and workshops delivered there and more than 600 attendees.
We noticed several inspired talks about Magento 2.3 updates: new features, PHP 7.2 support, graphQL, powering PWA and best practices for a functional test framework.
Another hot topic - How to get Magento 2 certified? Certification is highly valuable for any company that has a deal with Magento development. It makes your team more qualified and reliable in the eyes of your clients, primarily if they had never worked with you before. Naturally, if you work with Magento 2, you should pass the Magento 2 certified developer exam. But what does it take to prepare? We’ve gotten some insights and will share some tips with you on our Magento 2 Boot Camp (Magento 2 Courses) - this paragraph published on a commercial basis ;)
As some of Eltrino team members are working with Magento for about 10 years, so we are some kind of Magento conservatives and prefer Magento Open Source. At this moment we have just several projects on Magento Commerce (Cloud), so we know how they differ and how to work with cloud solution but now we figured out how to get more benefits from Magento Commerce (Cloud). So very likely that the number of cloud projects in our portfolio will increase.
But the most valuable talks were about Magento 2 performance. Advanced steps to optimize Magento 2 performance and radical methods to boost performance. We’ve taken some useful tips and tricks for efficient performance orientated coding.
As always MageConf was finished with great after party for huge Magento family.
