We recently attended Webwinkel Vakdagen 2023 Edition in Utrecht with our stand. We are proud to have participated in such a successful event, which saw 14,121 visitors and was bustling with energy. We were thrilled to see so many passionate exhibitors talking about their products and services. All the communication inspires us, and we will achieve fantastic results together. We want to express our gratitude to the organizers and all the exhibitors for their contribution to this beautiful event and their collaboration.

During the event, we had the opportunity to network with merchants who have web stores on Magento and Shopify. Many Magento merchants were interested in hearing about our experience with Hyva, a new, blazing-fast frontend for Magento that solves the main problem of poor frontend performance.

We also shared our experiences on web development with Hyva and VueStorefront, and discussed headless commerce solutions. Many people were curious about ChatGPT opportunities for eCommerce. We’ve already written about ChatGPT solutions for Magento and are thinking about developing our own AI solution.

We also attended inspiring talks, including a keynote by Chris Takkenberg, VP of Digital Product at Tommy Hilfiger Europe, who shared his vision on the relevance of the metaverse and the brand’s collaboration with the community.

We found Sharon’s story of entrepreneurship at My Jewellery captivating and thought-provoking. The company has grown into an empire with more than 600 employees and 27 stores alongside an online store. She shared her lessons learned on how to organize such a successful business and what the next steps are. The presentation covered topics such as B2B, marketplaces, influencer marketing, brand building, and more.

We also learned about Zeeman’s strategy, which uses the power of simplicity and thrift to contribute to the success of its online assortment.

The Verasol team shared valuable insights and experiences on establishing and growing their webshop in the dynamic market of verandas and glass sliding walls. It is interesting to hear how they adapted their product offerings to meet customer needs and overcame challenges during the process. Their experiences and lessons learned could be beneficial for anyone considering starting an online business in a similar market, where shipping large packages is a central concern.

“Circular business models at Decathlon” impressed by the company’s commitment to sustainability. It was inspiring to hear how Decathlon aims to reduce emissions related to products and increase their lifespan through smarter usage and circular models. The focus on preventing waste and promoting reuse is essential to staying within the framework of the Paris Agreement’s goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees. Decathlon’s approach to working with customers toward a more innovative and sustainable way of consuming is commendable and sets an excellent example for other companies.

At Eltrino, we are excited to continue participating in such events and to collaborate with other companies in the industry. We look forward to attending the Webwinkel Vakdagen again next year and seeing how the innovations work in actual cases.

Tot volgende keer, Webwinkel Vakdagen!
